Presidents of the EABA Member Associations

Dear Sportsfriends,

Time has come to change the course of the European Boxing. The recent World Championships and several further events convinced me too that we are following an erraneous path.

As initiated by our Russian Sportsfriends we have started to put a brake to the current process of degradation and loss of prestige. The actual President of EABA Mr.A.E.Zechev is a magnificent person, but everybody knows that the operative leadership is not in his hands.

As a consequence the European leader is weightless in the circles of AIBA. It is an evidence that this way he can not represent the European interests.

For the sake of European Boxing I ask you to take part at the Extraordinary Congress in Prague starting on the 13 ^th of January, 2006. The EABA Articles of Association give us chance to hold this event.

I call you to team up and do everything possible for the Boxing of Europe otherwise the pushing of it into the background would not be possible to stop. You most probably also evidence this process personally.

At the same time I wish to inform you that upon the request of several countries I cadidate for the post of President of the European Amateur Boxing Association. I kindly ask you to support my efforts and hope we all agree that change must come.

I count with you in the direction of the European Amateur Boxing Association and hope you also support the renewal.

Президентам Ассоциаций – Членам ЕАБА

Дорогие друзья,

Пришло время изменить курс Европейского бокса. Недавний Чемпионат Мира и еще несколько последних мероприятий убедили меня в том, что мы идем по ложному пути.

С подачи наших Русских друзей мы начали тормозить текущий процесс деградации и потери престижа. Действующий президент ЕАБА г-н Э. Жечев – великолепный человек, но каждый знает, что настоящее руководство находится не в его руках.

Как результат европейский лидер не имеет веса в кругах АИБА. Это свидетельствует о том, что он не может представлять Европейские интересы.

Я прошу, чтобы вы приняли участие во Внеочередном Конгрессе в Праге с 13 по 15 января 2006 г. ради Европейского бокса.

Я призываю вас объединиться и сделать все возможное для Европейского бокса, иначе не возможно будет остановить его (отодвижения) отталкивания на задний план. Вероятнее всего вы сами также наблюдаете этот процесс.

В тоже время, хочу сообщить Вам, что по предложению нескольких стран я кандидат на пост Президента Европейской Ассоциации Любительского Бокса. Я любезно прошу Вас поддержать мои усилия и надеюсь, все мы согласны, что должны наступить перемены.

Я рассчитываю на Вас в руководстве (управлении) Европейской Ассоциации Любительского Бокса и надеюсь, что вы тоже поддерживаете обновления.
